Peeling File
The innovative and patented transformation of a traditional file into a peeling file is key to this process.
- The top layer can be effortlessly lifted by “brushing” against the direction of the file cut. If another layer comes off simultaneously, it can simply be smoothed over, which is acceptable when adjusting spacings. Mechanics can learn this method faster than the technique needed for a peeling knife, leading to improved customer satisfaction.
- The unique spatula design of the file tip features a dull blade that is slim enough to elevate exposed films further.
- It is possible to lift multiple layers at once, although this depends on the material used.
- The peeling file is recommended for use with all M-Tech®L materials, except for the Al99.5 aluminum type, which has been replaced by the tougher AlMg2.5 material and is only approved for older constructions.
Gloves
Peeling gloves offer protection against injuries and enable faster peeling of M-Tech®L laminated shims.
